State Powerlifting Team

Another successful day for our Mohawks at the State Powerlifting meet in Coal Grove

Results:

Ethan Ferguson

-2nd Place in the 210 weight class with a 3 lift total of 1,300 pounds. (Bench- 275, Squat- 550, Deadlift- 475)

-Top Squat in the 210 pound weight class

Ean Marshall

-4th Place in the 210 Weight Class with a 3 lift total of 1,140 pounds. (Bench-235, Squat-455, Deadlift- 450)

Ian Rachford

-6th Place in a tough 185 pound weight class with a 3 lift total of 1,005 pounds (Bench- 250, Squat- 350, Deadlift- 405)

Gavin Cooper

-4th Place in the 145 pound weight class with a 3 lift total of 825 pounds (Bench- 150, Squat- 325, Deadlift- 350)

Bryson Easter

-Broke into the 1,000 pound club with a 3 lift total of 1,025 pounds.

Owen Easter

-3rd Place in the Jr.. High Unlimited weight class with a 3 lift total of 865 pounds

-Top Deadlift in the Jr high Unlimited class of 380 pounds

State Meet

Northwest Mohawks competed at the state Powerlifting Meet in Coal Grove.
Rewards:

The Girls came home with 2nd place in Division 5
Alexis Schuman 3rd place and Top Squat
Gavin Cooper 5th place in his weight class
Ian Rachford 6th place in his weight class

NHS Powerlifting Meet @Coal Grove

Coach Paul Carver and the Northwest Powerlifting team competed at Coal Grove. Five young men competed and all 5five brought home a medal or ribbon. Some even received multiples.

Northwest High school

*Gavin Cooper 5th place in the 145 division

*Ian Rachford 5th place in the 185 division

*Ean Marshall 1st place plus received top deadlift in the 195 division

*Ethan Ferguson 1st place in the 210 division plus he received top bench, top squat, top deadlift
